Wet Spray Painting Booths

Bendet Engineering Services has a wealth of experience in supplying Industrial paint finishing plants, our team of in-house design engineers and South African based manufacturing facility has over 30 years’ experience in this industry.

Spray booth design is regulated by the specific requirement of spray applications and efficiencies. The enormous variety of paints available have different characteristics and would each require different considerations when designing a booth to provide adequate elimination efficiencies.

Further influences include the method of application i.e manual, auto, using air-atomising, orthodox guns, air-assisted electrostatic hand guns, hand electrostatic and auto electrostatic systems.

Bendet Engineering Services provide booths specifically designed to meet the elimination efficiencies required.

Range of booths available include:

• Side draught booth with dry type filtration;
• Side draught booth with removable/washable elimination baffles/filters;
• Side draught water wash spray booths (types medium duty or high efficiency);
• Medium duty down draught with dry filtration;
• Medium duty down draught with wet floor flood sheets and scrubber elimination chamber;
• Heavy duty down draught with wet floor flood sheets and heavy duty under- floor elimination.

Paint elimination from the circulating water system forms part of the medium and heavy duty booths, incorporating adequate retention for chemical reaction, scumming , filtration and pumping.

Vestibules are an intricate addition to the higher volume booths and provide the facility to adequately pressurize the entry and exit vestibules. This feature minimizes the exfiltration of overspray from the booth.

Paint circulation systems can be local or central systems, with full circulation to manual or auto application guns in the booth. Colour change facilities are available including auto flushing of systems during colour changing.
